A huge congratulations to the girls who played in the junior national touch this weekend up in Nottingham (11 players representing from u12 to u17 and 1 referee from the Bredon team). All had an awesome weekend. Fab to watch on YouTube. U14 champions this weekend. Also 3 sets of sisters out playing this weekend. Well what a weekend. A huge congratulations for those playing this weekend in the European Youth Touch Championship . Congratulations to all our players who played brilliant and Matt for coaching over the weekend. Also to Amy who referred over the weekend. A massive thank you to the parents who support the girls and taking them to training and giving up the weekends for these events to happen. A massive congratulations to these 3 touch rugby players. All had an outstanding week and have made fantastic memories and had an amazing time. In a few weeks the younger members of the touch team will be off to play for England.

The RFU is launching a comprehensive programme aimed at tackling sexism and misogyny at all levels of rugby throughout the country, while the RFU Council is conducting a review into its Code of Conduct and will be increasing the representation of the women’s game in the Council.
